Sunday 8th September saw over 50 past rowers descend on the Curlew clubhouse to share old war stories and mingle with our current crop of rowers. The 2019/20 Committee would like to thank the work of our outgoing Alumni Officer Laura Binns, who with John Brunton and Paul Maloney managed to pull off this great event. This is the second social afternoon that the club has hosted, and we were lucky that Tim Knight agreed to recount some of his Curlew memories. This kept everyone engaged and made our current crop of rowers realise that the club has come on quite a lot and how lucky they are with the current boat fleet and rowing equipment. Also, understanding the reasons why we moved to the docks and no longer row out of Greenwich. There is more to follow, but below are a few pictures from the weekend.
