Curlew is a rowing club in East London and is open to all ages and abilities. Although very successful, with crews at Henley for 10 of the last 11 years, we pride ourselves on our friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Curlew hires an exercise hall from George Green᾿s School in Docklands for ciruit training.

If you're coming by DLR, then go to Island Gardens. On leaving the station, turn left and walk three hundred yards west along Manchester Road. George Green’s School is just by the zebra crossing (just before the parade of shops on the left-hand side of the road, and just after the all-weather pitch on the right-hand side of the road.)
If you're coming by car then you can approach George Green’s School from either Manchester Road or Westferry Road, as you drive around the bottom of the Isle of Dogs.
...if driving from Westferry Road, you will pass the “Lord Nelson” pub and then Island Gardens DLR, both on your left. George Green’s School is on your right-hand side just three hundred yards on from Island Gardens DLR, and there is usually room to park on the road outside or in the small car park on the right just after the zebra crossing.
...if driving from Manchester Road, you will pass a church on your left as you follow the road round to the right. George Green’s School is on your left, and if you see Island Gardens DLR then you have gone too far! You can usually park on the road or in the small car park on the left just before the zebra crossing.
Once inside head up the stairs to the main “Activities Hall”.
