After a fantastic performance at WeHoRR yesterday, today is the turn of the Curlew men to put a winter of training into practice at the Head of the River Race. Impressively, there will be another threeboats racing today: two Senior Squad crews and one Development Squad crew.
“The season so far has been frustrating with Hammersmith and Reading Heads cancelled. But today provides us with the opportunity to put that behind us and get two solid results at the Head. Given neither crew has raced, our speed is unknown. However, I am confident that the 1st VIII will finish inside the top 100 and the second 8 well inside the top 200. These results will be key for the club to set it’s ambitions for Henley Royal Regatta.”
