You want to learn to row with Curlew? Great! Here’s how…
1. Join a Curlew “Taster day”
We run a taster day before the start of each Learn to Row course. The day is an opportunity to meet some of our members and get a feel for rowing in our lakeboats, in the “tank” and on an indoor rowing machine before committing to the full course.
As an added bonus, attendees of the taster day get priority booking on our highly sought after Learn to Row courses!
Our last taster day was on 9th September 2018. The date of the next one has not yet been set, but fill in this form to register your interest.
2. Sign up for an 8 week “Learn to Row” course
Our next Learn to Row course will run from October to December 2018 and is FULLY BOOKED.
We are busy planning the following 8 week Learn to Row course to run in Spring 2019. If you would like to be notified when the next taster day or Learn to Row course is scheduled, enter your details on this form (the same form as for the taster day, no need to register twice!).
Curlew Learn to Row courses cost £220. They are run over 8 weeks and will provide you opportunity to join our social events as well as learning a new skill and getting fit. Once you have completed the course you will be eligible to join our development squad, in which you can continue to hone your skills and work towards your first races! The course involves 3 sessions each week including ergo technique, individual coaching in the indoor tank (Thursday evenings) and water sessions each Sunday.
