Curlew is a rowing club in East London and is open to all ages and abilities. Although very successful, with crews at Henley for 10 of the last 11 years, we pride ourselves on our friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Curlew’s clubhouse is located in the Trafalgar Rowing Centre on Crane Street in Greenwich, just east of the naval college and with beautiful views out over the river. The gym can be found a few doors down from the clubhouse, on the right-hand side of Crane Street after the junction with Eastney Street.
Almost all of Curlew’s boats are kept in the London Regatta Centre boathouse on the other side of the Royal Albert Dock from London City Airport. The rowing tank we use is also in the London Regatta Centre building.
On Monday night circuit training sessions are held at George Green’s School on Manchester Road in Docklands.
