Just a few weeks until the Big Lunch on 7 June 2015 3pm-9pm! This is a community street party we are hosting on Park Row near the clubhouse.

Invite your family and friends. We expect the afternoon to really get rolling at 3pm for pre-feast cocktails and soft drinks…or pints from the Trafalgar. The food should be ready by 5pm. We’ll have meat (and veggie burgers) on the BBQ and everyone can bring a side dish to share or a cake to sell. There will be an erg competition: Curlew vs Greenwich (£1 per entry), face painting, a raffle, a cake sale and cocktails. Plus a stand for information on Action Against Hunger and an opportunity to sign up to their Live Below the Line Challenge. If you would like to help set-up we will be there from about 1pm.

Bring a chair, dish to share and your family, friends and neighbours. Let us know if you plan to bring some food to share at bit.ly/CurlewBigLunch. For more information, email curlewevents@gmail.com. See you there!

It’s time once again for the legendary Curlew Henley BBQ!

Come celebrate the rowing event of the year in style with Curlew RC. Relax with friends just steps from the river with picnic blankets and unlimited food and drink (including Pimm’s, beer and wine). All for just £25.

Curlew members will be firing up the BBQ around lunchtime (specific timings to come). Fear not, you will have all the food and alcohol you can handle.

To find us from the train station, walk to the riverside and cross the bridge. Turn left at Leander Club and continue along the pathway (there’s generally a crowd moving in that direction). Remenham Field Car Park is off the riverside pathway to the right.
